"NO!" I yelped, sitting up suddenly in my bed. My blankets were on the floor, my skin was beaded with sweat, and my breathing was as rapid as my heartbeat.
"What is it? Whats the matter?"
My bedroom light suddenly flicked on, revealing my father standing in the doorway, a startled look on his face.
"I-Its nothing... Just a nightmare." I sighed, squinting in the bright light. Dad just nodded and walked over to me, sitting on the edge of my bed.
"You know, your mom and Liu have been getting nighmares too... Im worried about it."
I nodded sleepily. "Yeah..." They were always waking up in the middle of the night screaming.
"What happened in your nightmare?" He asked gently. I shivered.
"It was scary... someone was... No, something was calling me to come to them, over and over again. But it wasn't anyone I knew. The voice was the freakiest part... it sounded so unearthly. I couldn't see anything but I could feel that so

“Wake up, sleepy head,” a deep voice whispered, gently nudging Abbie. She lifted her head and yawned. It was still dark outside. She rolled over to look at Andy.

Osidian bit his lip and gazed down at the tiny being in the cage. She shook violently with sobs, making Osidian feel incredibly uncomfortable. He was never good with children- especially crying children.

He looked at the messenger who was smiling uncontrollably, then he switched his gaze upon the two guards. They were watching the cage with uneasy glances, their hands tightening around their spears.

Osidian looked down at the little woman and sighed heavily. “I don’t want anyone else knowing about this,” he said in a low voice. “Has anyone else seen it?”

Fiona watched a plump girl crawl out of a car and wave goodbye to her mom. She had a yellow backpack with a pink butterfly sticker on the back.
“It is!” She ran to Gretchen. “Where have you been? It’s been weeks since you were last in school.”
“Oh, Fiona! I had such a terrible flu. Mom told me I couldn’t even think about coming back until I was healthy.”
“Oh.” Fiona got a good look at Gretchen’s pot-belly, sticking out beneath her tight t-shirt. Her jeans stretched around her meaty thighs and hips. “You certainly look…healthy.”
A fading shadowAs she stood there, staring up at that old wooden door, Rainbow hesitated. For those who knew her, hesitation was something that was very much against how she usually was. But on this day, she made an exception. This particular tower of the Canterlot royal palace was not as attractive on the inside as the rest of the building, owing largely to it's purpose of holding criminals. The walls were darker, colder than the other rooms, and the whole place was just largely unpleasant. She focused on this because it didn't seem right for her to be here.

Introduction
The wind ruffled my hair, and fur. The Sun shining all across the open field, sparkling from the recent drizzle. Sitting on a tree branch, listening to the sounds of nature, is me, Elisa The Hedgehog. Intro: My Life_________________________________________

I look out my window, it is a gray wintery day, My name is Candeon T. Fox/Cat, and im 13 years old. Every Mobian is talking about Christmas, Hanukkah, etc. But the truth is, i've never celebrated it, any of it. I'm an Orphan, i never knew my parents, not their face, or name. I've always wondered if i would ever have a family or house to call my own, or someone just to care about me. But that wish every year begins to fade away. I only hope for a Holiday miracle to come my way, and maybe it will this year...

 

 

Chapter 1: Is This My Life?_______________________________

I'm just looking at everyone who is in the shelter, wondering about them, wondering if they'll have a home. I only wish for them a home, i can wait, but i've been here ever since i was born. My wish is for everyone here to have a family to call their own. Everynight i pray, i pray for everyone here in this shelter, praying for them to get what they want for christmas. But my wishes for finding a perfect home, or family slowly fades away in the wind. I hope that someone who is kind enough to even glance this way, and think about the poor Mobian kids who don't have a home. I feel abandond, no one talks to me, plays with me, nothing. They often murmur about my color, or my eyes, saying how weired it is for such a color, im always left alone to either die, or just be no one. How can i live this life forever? Why am i even here? If my parents put me here, then why didn't they leave me with a relative of ours?  I only wish for a new life, a life that is filled with adventure! But i'm never going to have a life with adventure. I've heared about the Sonic Team, Amy Rose team, Dark Team, and Chaotix team, and only wish i could be a part of it, always free to run, fight, be with friends. Friends. That word brings pang and envy to me when i think of them, these orphans may not be my friends, but i consider the moon as my only friend. The Moon always listens to what i have to say, no matter what i ask. I'm wishing on a star, for some day i might meet Sonic and his friends. But i know its a very big wish, but i need so much encouragement from someone! I have powers no one else has, it mainly happens either on a full moon, or if i have a moonstone, and i do, i always have the moonstone with me, it's the only thing that makes me feel calm. Here is my prayer i always say, " The Sonic Team, Team Amy Rose, Team dark, Team Chaotix, guard us all every night and day, and please take the time to visit me, the kids in the shelter, and help us find a new home, we would be thankful for your effort, but if not, then visit us just once, to help lift our spirits on this wintery night." I often hear a voice in my head, and it always comes from the moonstone saying, " Do you want me to send this to everyone of the team's dreams to help you and the orphans? " i always respond with a yes. I hope this will encourage them to come here and lift our spirits. But this is only a dream, a dream that isn't real. But maybe something will happen, and if i were to be adopted, i wish it would be someone from either of the teams....
